Also known as "Blue Brugmansia" (Brugmansia relative), Mini Angel Trumpet, Iochroma australis, Iochroma australe, Acnistus australis and Dunalia australia - also available in Snow White. A fine, rare blue trumpet specimen.
The flowers are 2"-3" long and bloom for an extended period. They look like miniature Brugmansia flowers. The dropping flowers scattered make a beautiful carpet of blue.
Native to Argentina, mostly cultivated in Europe, this rare fast growing evergreen likes sun to part sun and average water. Needs occasional pruning. Grows to 6'. Frost tender. Fruit and leaves are not eatable.
This tropical perennial does excellent in a container. Hummingbirds love the flowers and so does everyone else! Seeds available:
